Analytics without tracking

ByteBulletin uses a first-party pageview counter. It records which page was viewed and the referring page, with no cookies, no IP address storage and no user-agent fingerprinting. We cannot identify you from it, and we run no third-party advertising or analytics scripts.

The newsletter

If you subscribe, we store your email address and use it for one thing: sending you the ByteBulletin digest (delivered via Resend, our email provider). We do not sell, rent or share subscriber addresses. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that removes you immediately; you can also write to news@bytebulletin.com to be removed.

Hosting

The site is served by Vercel, which processes standard server logs (IP address, pages requested) to operate and secure the service. We don't use those logs to identify visitors.

Your rights

You can request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold (in practice: your newsletter email, if you subscribed) by writing to news@bytebulletin.com.

Changes

If our practices change, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
